Organized by DGCA-MiC & EFAD.
An open door panel discussion bringing together EFAD (European Film Agency Directors association) and industry stakeholders to discuss film education as a strategic element of the European audiovisual sector.
The first part will be dedicated to EFAD members and their national policies on film education.
The second part will be dedicated to industry stakeholders from all over Europe representing different stages of the audiovisual value chain.
The panel discussion will address the role of film education in developing young audiences, while sharing best practices. Discussions will explore opportunities for stronger European coordination, including through existing programmes and policy frameworks.
It will be explored how film education can respond to current transformations in the audiovisual ecosystem, including digital platforms and changing viewing habits.
It will be an opportunity to share ideas on solutions to the challenges associated with film education.
