Presentation of the program for the Montecatini International Short Film Festival (MISFF)—scheduled in Montecatini Terme from November 2 to 8, 2026—and the national and international initiatives developed through the CINETOUR network to promote Italian cinema, culture, regional heritage, and creativity worldwide.
The event will showcase Italian festivals participating in CINETOUR alongside several special projects. Among these is “BOOK & MOVIE,” focused on the relationship between literature and cinema, featuring a case study on writer Emilio Iodice and his book Il mio soldato. Una storia di vero amore (My Soldier: A True Love Story). .
Additionally, the session will highlight “Women in Cinema” (Le Donne nel Cinema) featuring Roberta Mucci and Virginia Barrett, as well as the project “80 Years of Vespa – In Tuscany 1946–2026”, dedicated to one of the most iconic global symbols of Made in Italy.
