“Visions from the Myth!”. This is the slogan accompanying the new edition of the Tropea Film Festival — a phrase meant to fuse territory, memory, and cinema into one unique expression. We’re getting ready to welcome you to one of the most beautiful and elegant locations in the Mediterranean. Seven days, from September 14 to 20, will shine a spotlight on the world of cinema. This year’s festival pays tribute to the great Ugo Tognazzi, with a photographic exhibition curated by Ricky Tognazzi. Afternoons will be filled with workshops, book presentations, technical panels, and masterclasses, alongside screenings of debut films, short films, and feature-length films in competition. The main venues will be Palazzo Santa Chiara, the Antico Sedile, and the Cappella dei Nobili. Evening events will take place in the Historic Center at Palazzo Santa Chiara and the stunning Piazza Cannone, offering a show within a show, thanks to the breathtaking natural backdrop and the illuminated rock outcrop. Every event promises to be engaging, moving, and full of special guests.
