It is the tv event broadcast on Rai that focuses on the fight against violence towards women and breast cancer prevention. The latest edition aired on November 24, 2023, on Rai Tre.

The “Camomile Cinema Award” (the chamomile flower in phytotherapy has a noble purpose, helping sick plants to heal, and is a symbol of solidarity) was created with the aim of honoring those who use the cinematic language – always a universal tool – as a means to promote change and deliver social messages to the broader public. Cinema represents a fundamental vehicle for social awareness, as it has the power to convey a powerful message capable of reaching everyone. the empathy and solidarity it can evoke are the allies we possess to help women overcome trauma and return to life. For this reason, even through cinematic language, it is important to tell women, especially the younger ones, that prevention is crucial and that it is possible to rise again, even in the most difficult situations. The award (a sculpture by master goldsmith Michele Affidato) will be presented to actors, productions, and figures in the film industry who have distinguished themselves for their commitment to the two themes dear to women for women.
