Amadeo Peter Giannini Study Center and Digital Fiction Festival are two instruments put in place for the promotion of audiovisual by Genova Liguria Film Commission.
It consists of two important stages of advertisement, put together by GLFC to promote Liguria and showcase its role in the field of audiovisual; the latter which continues to grow in a region that can boast of Amadeo Peter Giannini, the famous philanthropist of Ligurian origin, who first founded the Bank of Italy and then the Bank of America in the United States.
Giannini and his vision gave a great surge to the American creative industry and to the reboot of Italy post World War II.
In particular, A.P. Giannini funded Snow white and the seven dwarfs by Walt Disney, The Kid by
Charlie Chaplin and It’s a wonderful life by Frank Capra, as well as many other great names of cinema.
He also funded the construction of the Golden Gate Bridge, which reminds us of the New San Giorgio’s bridge in Genoa, a sign of reboot and momentum.
GLFC inaugurated the Amadeo Peter Giannini study centre foundation on March 24 th , to create a means of reboot and momentum of Liguria and Italy in the world.
During the Digital Fiction Festival, the B to B event that will take place in Genoa from July 29 th to August 1 st , there will be: themed meetings about audiovisual, evenings dedicated to the Gold wave Award, DFF and the Amadeo Peter Giannini Award.
