On the occasion of the Berlinale, one of the most prestigious international film festivals, with 20,000 film industry professionals from around the world attending the European Film Market and 4,000 critics and journalists, the Italian Pavilion – Gropius Bau stand 03_C6 – is ready to serve as a hub for meetings, sharing, and debate, welcoming professional and artistic delegations, as well as all representatives of the Italian film industry present in Berlin.
The Italian Pavilion is organized by Cinecittà in collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency (ITA), on behalf of the General Directorate for Cinema and Audiovisual of the Ministry of Culture (DGCA-MiC) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI).
The pavilion will host business meetings for producers, buyers, and international selllers, networking opportunities, and, as part of the activities dedicated to internationalization, a series of appointments by the Special Projects Office of the DGCA-MiC at Cinecittà.
Among the established partners taking turns at the Italian Pavilion to define new initiatives are the British Film Institute, Unifrance, VIPO, Unijapan, Kofic, CCIDAHK, and representatives of Ibero-American cinema.
Additionally, the DGCA, with the organizational support of Cinecittà, renews its participation in the Visitors Program of the Co-production Market, an initiative designed to enable producers interested in international co-productions to access informational sessions, pitches, panels, and networking platforms.
