76. BERLINALE

EUROPEAN FILM MARKET
12 / 18 FEBRUARY 2026

At the Berlinale, one of the most important events for the international film industry, Italy confirms its presence at the European Film Market (EFM) with the ITALIAN PAVILION, a key venue for meetings, dialogue, and exchange among industry professionals.

Serving as the hub of Italy’s presence in Berlin, the Italian Pavilion is part of the festival’s market platform, welcoming institutional and artistic delegations as well as all professionals from the Italian film industry, within a context attended by more than 20,000 professionals and 4,000 journalists from around the world.

The Italian Pavilion is organized by Cinecittà, in collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency, on behalf of the Directorate General for Cinema and Audiovisual of the Ministry of Culture (DGCA-MiC) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), confirming the joint commitment to supporting and promoting the Italian audiovisual sector in international markets.

Further strengthening this presence, the International Department of Cinecittà, as part of the activities organized on behalf of the DGCA-MiC, renews its participation in the Co-Production Market’s Visitors Program: an important opportunity dedicated to emerging producers interested in international co-productions, offering access to information sessions, pitches, panels, and high-level networking opportunities. This edition has a strongly global outlook, bringing together 110 producers from 23 countries, including 6 from Italy.
