CELEBRATING CONNECTIONS
Celebrating Connections is a format promoted by the Ministry of Culture aimed at supporting the talents of Italian cinema and audiovisual abroad and establishing cultural, artistic and professional interconnections with international producers and professionals.
t is a one-and-a-half hour live show featuring actors, directors, authors, producers, with a programme of talks, videos, music and experiential content to tell the audience about the opportunities of working with and in Italy from a creative, professional and regulatory point of view.
It is an initiative to enhance Italian cinema by presenting its great masters and the new generation of young talents.

The event was led by Federico Ielapi, the “Pinocchio” of Matteo Garrone’s film who – despite his young age – has already worked on several sets and with important professionals such as Gabriele Muccino, John Lithgow, Anthony Hopkins, Roberto Benigni and Pierfrancesco Favino.
Young performers appeared on stage with monologues and anecdotes such as Ginevra Francesconi (Il mio nome è vendetta by Cosimo Gomez|Genitori vs influencer by Michela Andreozzi); Saul Nanni (rado by Kim Rossi Stuart|Supersex by Matteo Rovere, Francesco Carrozzini, Francesca Mazzoleni); Gaia Girace (L’amica geniale|The Good Mothers); Domenico Cuomo (Mare fuori|Catch 22); Sara Serraiocco (Il primo giorno della mia vita by Paolo Genovese|Siccità by Paolo Virzì). The guest of honour was Stefano Accorsi, who spoke to present the RAI series on Guglielmo Marconi, the Bolognese genius that he played celebrating the 150th anniversary of his birth this year.
