Italy is participating with a prestigious delegation of sales and production companies in the 30th edition of FILMART – the Hong Kong International Film and TV Market, taking place from March 17 to 20 at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre.
The Italian presence is organized and coordinated through the synergy between the International Department of Cinecittà, on behalf of the Directorate General for Cinema and Audiovisual of the Ministry of Culture (DGCA-MiC), and the Italian Trade Agency.
To discover the latest Italian productions and projects in development, it is possible to meet the 19 companies gathered at the Italian Pavilion (Stand 1E – B11). This represents a unique opportunity to explore the best of Italian cinema and forge new international collaborations.

Now in its thirtieth edition, FILMART confirms its role as a leading platform for the film, streaming, animation, and digital technology industries. The event combines a physical sales market with a rich conference program and professional networking and matching sessions.
According to data from the organizers, this year’s edition features the participation of over 780 exhibitors and more than 7,700 industry professionals. 42% of exhibitors come from Hong Kong and Mainland China, while the remainder arrives from every corner of the globe. Among the national pavilions present, alongside the Italian one, are South Korea, France, Germany, Malaysia, Thailand, and numerous Chinese provinces and cities.
On the buyers’ side, approximately 30% are based in Hong Kong, 60% come from the rest of Asia, and 10% from other regions.
This year, FILMART also offers a rich and varied conference program, with a renewed focus on developments in artificial intelligence and international co-production opportunities.
