Delhi is gearing up for an enchanting celebration of Italian cinema as Italian Screens returns in India. Building on the success of previous editions, this year’s event promises a remarkable showcase of cinematic brilliance, further strengthening cultural and cinematic bonds between India and Italy.
Dates and Venue
Scheduled from November 28 to December 1, 2024, the festival will take place at the Stein Auditorium, India Habitat Centre. The lineup includes four exceptional films, each a celebrated entry from prestigious international festivals, showcasing the richness and diversity of Italian cinema.

- November 28: There’s Still Tomorrow
Directed by Paola Cortellesi, this opening film is set in postwar 1940s Italy and follows Delia, a woman who defies family traditions after receiving a mysterious letter. It is a compelling tale of resilience and personal transformation. - November 29: Mia
Ivano De Matteo’s heart-wrenching drama revolves around a family’s struggle as their teenage daughter becomes entangled with a manipulative boy, offering a poignant exploration of vulnerability and familial bonds. - November 30: In the Mirror
Roberta Torre presents an introspective journey through memory and identity. This film, inspired by the life and legacy of the iconic actress Monica Vitti, captures Monica’s reflective exploration of her past. - December 1: The Beautiful Summer
Laura Luchetti’s coming-of-age drama closes the festival. It portrays a 17-year-old girl navigating love, self-discovery, and the emotional highs and lows of a life-changing summer in Italy.
