As part of the FARE CINEMA project, ITALIAN SCREENS offers the Sofia audience a screening of C’è ancora domani (There’s Still Tomorrow), actress Paola Cortellesi’s debut as a director. The appointment is scheduled for 20 June at 6:30 pm at Casa Libri, for info: iicsofia@esteri.it

C’è ancora domani was first screened at the 18th Rome Film Fest and won two awards, including the Special Jury Prize and a special mention for Best First Feature. It was then awarded Film of the Year at the 2024 Silver Ribbons. It was also the undisputed star of the 2024 David di Donatello Awards with 19 nominations and six prizes: Best Supporting Actress, Best Original Screenplay, Best New Director, Best Leading Actress, David of the Spectator Award and David Giovani Award. Box-office champion in Italy in 2023 with € 36.6 million and quickly bought by 24 countries, it literally conquered millions of spectators in cinema halls with a story set in post-World War II Italy, also focusing on the present and the battles for gender equality.

The event is a preview of ITALIAN SCREENS, which will first be presented in Bulgaria as part of the Cinelibri Festival in October 2024.
