DAKAR
The Italian Cultural Institute of Dakar is pleased to present a special edition of Italian Screens, as part of Fare Cinema 2025—a showcase dedicated to the crafts of cinema and the promotion of the Italian film industry worldwide.
From June 17 to July 22, 2025, Dakar’s Cinéma Pathé will host six exclusive premieres that highlight the pluralistic, innovative, and deeply human face of contemporary Italian cinema.
Italian Screens is a project supporting the internationalization of the Italian audiovisual sector, aiming to promote the best of Italian film production abroad, along with support tools such as tax credits and funds dedicated to distribution and co-productions. The initiative, conceived by Roberto Stabile—Head of International Department at DGCA/Cinecittà—is the result of collaboration between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Directorate-General for Cinema and Audiovisual of the Ministry of Culture, and Cinecittà.
