The sixth edition of the Habitat International Film Festival, scheduled from March 21 to 30, features Italy as the Focus Country, bringing the ITALIAN SCREENS initiative back to New Delhi.
The program was presented at the Habitat Centre during a press conference attended by Roberto Stabile, Head of Internationalization at Cinecittà, Andrea Anastasio, Director of the Italian Cultural Institute in New Delhi, Stefano Francia di Celle, Curator of the Focus Country Italy, and filmmaker Marco Tullio Giordana.

The Focus is divided into two parts: the Italian Screens section, showcasing films produced and distributed in 2024, and a selection of classics to celebrate the centenary of Marcello Mastroianni’s birth.
The 9 films presented through the Italian Screens initiative offer Indian audiences a wide range of genres and emerging voices, reflecting the richness of contemporary Italian cinema.
Also featured is the Italian-Indian co-production “Parikrama” by Goutam Ghose, produced for Italy by Indrapur Cinematografica.
Additionally, on this occasion, fiscal incentives for distribution and co-productions, the tax credit, and all the tools available for those who choose to film in Italy were promoted.
