OMAN

The Embassy of Italy in Oman is participating with ITALIAN SCREENS in the third edition of the European Film Festival, taking place from 11 to 18 October 2026 at Cinépolis cinema in Oman Avenues Mall, Muscat.

Italy contributes to the organisation and delivery of the festival, promoting intercultural dialogue and cultural exchange between Italy, Oman and other European countries through the universal language of cinema.

The Italian programme features screenings of three films from contemporary Italian cinema: “Damned If You Do, Damned If You Don’t” by Gianni Di Gregorio; “Sweetheart” by Margherita Spampinato; and “Siblings” by Greta Scarano.

The festival also provides an opportunity to showcase the quality and diversity of Italian cinema, highlight the excellence of Italy’s audiovisual industry and foster new relationships and opportunities for cooperation between Italian and Omani professionals in the sector.
