The program offers a panorama of contemporary Italian production, spanning various genres: comedy, thriller, drama, and coming-of-age stories.

Films presented:

The opening film is the highly anticipated new work by Paolo Genovese. A romantic comedy that, with the brilliance of Inside Out, reveals the voices inside the protagonists’ heads during a first date. A true box office champion.

This thriller by Paolo Strippoli, previously presented in Busan, follows a teacher in a village shaken by an inexplicable event, in a gripping reflection on the themes of faith and fanaticism.

Directed by Margherita Spampinato, a touching film, an award-winning debut at Locarno and beloved in Busan, which paints an unforgettable summer of growth and discovery for a boy in Sicily.

Italy’s submission for the 2026 Oscars, directed by Francesco Costabile. A powerful and visceral family drama about the complex search for redemption and the scars of violence.
