DOLCEVITA-SUR-SEINE
ITALIAN SCREENS

Italian Screens returns to Paris through its partnership with Dolcevita-sur-Seine, the festival dedicated to Italian cinema taking place from July 2 to 6, 2026, in the evocative setting of the historic Arènes de Lutèce.
The collaboration is renewed with the second edition of the Prix du Public, the competitive section dedicated to five Italian films still unreleased in France. The 2026 edition is entirely focused on women: all selected titles are directed by women filmmakers, who will be present in Paris to introduce their films and meet audiences.
In competition: A Brief Affair by Ludovica Rampoldi, The Kidnapping of Arabella by Carolina Cavalli, Sweetheart by Margherita Spampinato, Beloved by Elisa Amoruso, and Mosquitoes by Nicole and Valentina Bertani.
On Saturday, July 4, at the Christine Cinéma Club, a talk promoted by Unifrance and the International Department of Cinecittà will feature filmmakers Margherita Spampinato and Valentine Cadic, following the screening of Gioia mia.
For five days, the festival will bring the city to life with screenings, music, and talks, creating a major celebration of cinema that highlights the dialogue between Italy and France: a cultural exchange that looks to the present without losing the allure of its mythic dimension.
Organized by the association Palatine, Dolcevita-sur-Seine confirms its status as a key event for the promotion of Italian cinema in France.
