Italian cinema returns to the Dominican Republic from 20 to 24 October with ITALIAN SCREENS, as part of the 26th Week of the Italian Language in the World. This special film series, held over three days, will introduce Dominican audiences to the Italian language through screenings of four contemporary Italian films.
Presented and organised by the Embassy of Italy in Santo Domingo, in collaboration with Cinecittà’s International Department and the Centro de Convenciones y Cultura Dominicana UTESA, the programme will feature four films: “There Is Still Tomorrow” by Paola Cortellesi; “Diamonds” by Ferzan Ozpetek; “Sweetheart” by Margherita Spampinato; and “Three Goodbyes” by Isabel Coixet.

All films will be screened in Italian with Spanish subtitles at the Centro de Convenciones y Cultura Dominicana UTESA on 20, 22 and 24 October, with two screenings scheduled for 24 October.
