The Consulate General of Italy in Hong Kong, the Italian Cultural Institute in Hong Kong, and the International Department of Cinecittà are delighted to present the fourth edition of ITALIAN SCREENS – New Italian Cinema Goes Abroad in Hong Kong, in collaboration with Broadway Cinematheque.
Taking place from 29 October to 8 November, the programme features five carefully selected recent Italian films making their Hong Kong premieres, offering audiences a glimpse into the vibrancy and diversity of contemporary Italian cinema:
Balancing tradition and innovation, emotion and craftsmanship, cinema has long been one of the most distinctive expressions of Italy’s creative spirit. From timeless masterpieces to the compelling works of a new generation of filmmakers, Italian cinema continues to captivate audiences, entertain, and inspire reflection.

ITALIAN SCREENS is also part of the autumn festival ITALIA on Stage, organised by the Consulate General of Italy and the Italian Cultural Institute in partnership with Italian institutions and associations across Hong Kong. The festival celebrates the richness of Italian culture, business, art, and lifestyle, offering audiences a multifaceted perspective on contemporary Italy.
