PANAMA

From 27 August to 2 September 2026, Panama will once again be one of the international destinations of Italian Screens, the film showcase dedicated to promoting Italian cinema worldwide and supporting the international outreach of the Italian audiovisual industry.
The event will also provide an opportunity to present industry professionals with the main financial support tools available to the Italian audiovisual sector, including the tax credit, the Film Distribution Fund, incentives for development and production, and opportunities for international co-productions.
For one week, Panamanian audiences will have the opportunity to discover a selection of six contemporary Italian films, screened in their original language with Spanish subtitles at the Salas de Arte of Cinépolis Soho Mall and El Dorado.
The programme takes audiences on a journey across different genres, generations and sensibilities, offering an insight into the richness, diversity and vitality of contemporary Italian cinema.
