RABAT

From 6 October to 24 November 2026, the Italian Cultural Institute of Rabat presents a special edition of Italian Screens at Cinéma 7ème Art, as part of Fare Cinema 2026.
Six films, six perspectives on contemporary Italian cinema, presented in weekly screenings to introduce Moroccan audiences to new directors, stories and cinematic languages.

Programme

• 6 October – Primavera, by Damiano Michieletto
• 13 October – Things We Don’t Say, by Gabriele Muccino
• 20 October – Five Seconds, by Paolo Virzì
• 3 November – The Holy Boy, by Paolo Strippoli
• 6 November – La grazia, by Paolo Sorrentino
• 24 November – Sweetheart, by Margherita Spampinato

All films will be screened in their original language with French subtitles.

Italian Screens is a project promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), the Directorate General for Cinema and Audiovisual of the Ministry of Culture (DGCA-MiC), and the International Department of Cinecittà, dedicated to promoting Italian cinema around the world. In Rabat, the event is organised by the Italian Cultural Institute of Rabat, in collaboration with the Embassy of Italy in Morocco, Fondation Hiba, and the Cinémathèque Marocaine.
