ZANZIBAR

Italian Screens, as part of the “Fare Cinema” program, presents four exclusive premieres at the 29th Zanzibar International Film Festival (ZIFF), in collaboration with the Embassy of Italy in Dar es Salaam. The Festival will take place in Stone Town and other locations across the archipelago from 24 to 28 June 2026.

Through screenings and dedicated events, Italian Screens brings the best of contemporary Italian cinema to international audiences, while also highlighting the tools that support the sector, including tax incentives, distribution opportunities, and programmes supporting international co-productions.

The participation of Italian Screens in the Zanzibar International Film Festival, for the second consecutive year, reaffirms its commitment to strengthening the presence of Italian cinema in Africa and promoting cultural dialogue between Italy and Tanzania through the universal language of cinema.

All films will be presented in their original version with English subtitles.
