MAFIZ
The International Department of Cinecittà, as part of the initiatives carried out on behalf of the Directorate General for Cinema and Audiovisual of the Ministry of Culture (DGCA–MiC), organizes the Italian participation in MAFIZ, the industry section of the renowned Málaga Film Festival, scheduled from March 9 to 13, 2026.
This is a key opportunity to promote the excellence and creativity of our country within the Iberian and Latin American audiovisual landscape, through a rich program of activities, professional meetings, and pitching sessions designed to foster new international collaboration opportunities.
Wednesday, March 11: Italy Showcase
The main event involving the Italian delegation will be the dedicated showcase, scheduled for Wednesday, March 11 at 9:30 a.m. at the UNIA MENA Auditorium. During the event, the selected producers will have the opportunity to present their production companies and the projects currently in development.
In addition to the showcase, Italian producers will take part in B2B meetings with international industry professionals. For the 2026 edition, the production companies selected to represent Italy in the networking activities are:

- La Sarraz Pictures
- Mediterraneo Cinematografica
- Solaria Film
- Teleaut Produzione
- Zoe Films
This is a significant opportunity for these six production companies, which will have the chance to build new professional relationships and present their work to potential partners, distributors, and financiers from around the world.
