SCENARI TRANSALPINI

To promote the development of Italian-French co-productions, the Institut français Italia, in collaboration with Cinecittà, with the support of the DCA-MiC, the CNC, and in partnership with MIA | Mercato Internazionale Audiovisivo and Villa Medici, Académie de France à Rome, has launched the SCENARI TRANSALPINI project, a transnational workshop for feature film scripts.
Six script projects have been selected: three from Italy and three from France. The six selected projects, represented by their authors, took part in a training and market-access process, which included preliminary online meetings in September and training in Rome in October, guided by Italian and French experts in co-production, distribution, and international sales.

This year’s selected projects are

  • TITANO by Vincenzo Cascone and Lorenzo Ongaro
  • IF PARIS HAD THE SEA IT WOULD BE A LITTLE BARI by Paola Netti
  • ÂMES BLANCHES by Anna Ambrosino and Annalisa Gandossi
  • LONG FEU-FIRE AWAY by Anne-Sophie Bally and Manuel Billi
  • ELVIS AND ROMEO by Haicha Ladrouz
  • LES MACARONIS byi Johanna Legrand

The projects will be presented on October 15 at the MIA during a Scenari Transalpini Pitching Forum. The authors will be available for B2B meetings on October 15 and 16 at Palazzo Barberini.
