In occasione della Berlinale, uno dei festival di maggior prestigio internazionale, con 20.000 professionisti dell’industria cinematografica provenienti da tutto il mondo presenti all’European Film Market e 4.000 tra critici e giornalisti, torna l’Italian Pavilion al Gropius Bau – stand 03_C6, lo spazio di incontro, condivisione, dibattito, che accoglie le delegazioni professionali, artistiche e tutti gli addetti dell’industria del cinema italiano presenti a Berlino. 

L’Italian Pavilion è organizzato da Cinecittà in collaborazione con Agenzia ICE, per la Direzione Generale Cinema e Audiovisivo del Ministero della Cultura (DGCA-MiC) e il Ministero degli Affari Esteri e della Cooperazione Internazionale (MAECI).

Nello spazio si terranno incontri business per produttori, buyers e venditori internazionali, momenti di networking, e nell’ambito delle attività dedicate all’internazionalizzazione, si svolgeranno una serie di appuntamenti a cura dell’ufficio Progetti Speciali DGCA-MiC presso Cinecittà. Tra i partner consolidati che si avvicenderanno all’Italian Pavilion per definire nuove iniziative: British Film Institute, Unifrance, VIPO, Unijapan, Kofic, CCIDAHK, e i rappresentanti delle cinematografie Iberamericane. 

Inoltre, la DGCA, col supporto organizzativo di Cinecittà, rinnova la partecipazione al Visitors Program del Co-production Market, iniziativa pensata per consentire ai produttori che intendono cimentarsi nella coproduzione internazionale di accedere a sessioni informative, pitch, panel e piattaforme di networking.

In its first months of business, Be Water Film distributed the instant cult music documentary IL SEGRETO DI LIBERATO, and will distribute features starring Richard Gere, Jacob Elordi, Nicolas Cage, and Pamela Anderson. The company has also produced the Christmas comedy CORTINA EXPRESS, in theaters on Christmas 2024; a TV documentary written by Mario Calabresi; and a TV format starring renowned history professor Alessandro Barbero.
